Overdyed Kantha Dress

This beautiful dress has been hand dyed at home by me, giving the original Kantha fabric a softer, more muted tone. ♡

I'm absolutely in love with these pieces. Each one is completely unique, made from recycled cotton quilts, blankets, cloth and saris that have already lived a life before finding their way here.

You may find little imperfections, small holes, scuffs, pulled threads, patch repairs, stains and odd stitching. These aren't flaws to hide; they're little reminders of the life these fabrics have lived, and part of what makes each garment so special.

Embrace the flaws, my loves. We all have them. ♡

Each piece has been lovingly put together in India, with all the quirks, repairs and character of the original textiles left visible.

A little note about the dye

The dress pictured has been naturally muted by hand at home, so there may be slight variations in colour and tone between pieces.

Dyed items are not eligible for a refund and can only be returned for store credit. Please make sure you're happy with this before purchasing.

Hand wash where possible. If using a washing machine, wash at 30°C or below on a gentle cycle. Please do not wash any hotter.
