This dress is absolutely beautiful, the colours, the pattern are gorgeous. I personally wish the length was a little longer but that's just how I like my dresses to sit on my body, the reason why I've knocked a star off is that the dress is SO lightweight, I have a couple of dresses from Mother Maple, this one because it's shorter and doesn't have any lining blows right up the second there's a tiny tiny bit of wind. So much so that I'm going to have to sew some hem weights in. My chub rub cycling shorts were being exposed constantly during the dresses last outing oops. I was so conscious of it I had to keep holding my dress down. This has happened both times I've worn it.
So my options are to only wear it with jeans or sew some weights into the hem, for the price ideally it would of been nice if it had some lining like the saffron.
At 5'11 and a size 18-20 this fits beautifully at around knee length so not quite midi for me. It does sit high on my bust as I'm a 38HH but I cinche in under the bust with a belt, it's so flattering. I was surprised at how thin the cotton fabric was but have come to really enjoy it, love the pockets too. The pattern is just perfect! If I could I would have longer sleeves, these sit at my elbow and the cuff is tight. It's a special dress though and I love being in my garden floating around in it.
